101 Tips on Get Fit

Im 14 and i want to get fit. i an do 30 sit ups but i can barely do a push up. can someone please help?

Im kinda similar, there are some cool exercises that help a lot tho. i remember finding a few on yahoo health before, check there.

Just do 10 press ups a day for a week then 20 a day then 30 etc

Instead of doing them from the floor, start by leaning against the wall and do several each day. you need time to build up your musclesm

For me, when i was starting to work out and get fit, I made a routing where every day I would increase the number of sit ups I did by 10. When I started I could only really do 30 so one day I did 30 and the next day i really pushed myself to 40. If 10 at a time is too much then I recommend going 5 at a time. I have never been very good at push ups on the ground, but a good way I found to work on that would be to do a push up against a kitchen counter. With being at an angle it is not putting nearly as much stress on your back, yet it still works your arms. You do not feel it as much as doing a regular push up would, but after doing those push ups for a many days, your arms do strengthen.

Eat healthier foods and not eat junk foods. Do push up and sit up like almost everyday. Try eating more fruits if you can. If you do all this at least once a week then you are in a good shape.

Try to mix different exercises such as abs, push ups (eventually you will made it) sit ups ... cardio, jogging some swimming will help you.

I'm in quote bad shape, 5.9 height, 9.2 stone, and I eat loads of crap, and sit on the computer all day.... I get: 100 sit ups, 50 crunches, 25-30 push ups (once i got 40) push ups. Work on both your sit ups and push ups, do push ups in set of 1 (5x1) for a week, then 2x5, then 3x5 etc..... u will get better in no time!
