Question: Is my workout routine good? need to get fit.? (Posted by: Dale g on 2010-01-28 15:39:51) So i wanna get fit. Im 16 now and about to start college and ive developed a bit of a gut. would like to get lean and also i would like my arms to be bigger. Not huge just enough. Is my routine good for me. 3 sets of 10 push ups 3 sets of 10 sit ups and 10 crunches 4 sets of 10 curls (relatively low in weight) and a 30 minute run. i don't know how often i should do this. Thanks |

Posted by: Pro on 2010-01-28, 15:45:24 Well if your doing the same amount of situps ans pushups your not increasing the difficulty so you wont build much muscle that way you should work out every other day at most |

Posted by: Jon on 2010-01-28, 15:50:19 Add 3 sets of 10 diamond push ups after the normal push ups to really involve your triceps. also increase the difficulty by putting your feet on a chair once it gets too easy, also with curls try for 3 sets of 8 with a bit more weight. also find a bar and or even a beam in the garage and do some pull ups before you do curls if you can. |
