Posted by: harshathlete on 2010-01-28, 07:45:46 Yeah I think you are doing "ok ". You need to be clear about your goal. What do you mean by "I want to be fit by March 21st " ? How will you know if you have been successful ? It's important to be specific about what you want. E.g. " I want to have a flat stomach and a muscular body by Mar. 21st " ...or "I want to see my abs my 21st " or " I want to be able to run 3 miles non-stop at 9 mph by 21st ". This way you can measure your progress and tweak your program if you aren't seeing any progress. It's also important that you weigh yourself and take tape measurements of your waist, chest and hips. You should do it once a week, on the same day. That way you will know how much progress you are making. Good luck on your goal.... BTW , my bday is on the 23rd of March!!! harshathlete.com |

Posted by: Mikhail on 2010-01-28, 07:48:50 I'm a medical student. I don't recommend you try the supplements at all... Honestly, it sounds like you're doing all the right things. It's healthy to lose 1 to 2 pounds per week. This is the kind of weight you can keep off. Your workouts sound great, but try to get them in every other day, and avoid doing the same workouts two days in a row (cross-training, this keeps it easy on your body). If you're not getting the results you like go, write down your food intake (specifics) for three average days and go to mypyramid.gov/ to see what it is that might be throwing you off. |
