This is the heaviest and best constructed so I assume it will last longer warranting the higher price. It has the simplest control panel with only the options of setting speed and time which is fine. Each one operates differently as far as the distance of movement of the plate, the direction of movement and how fast the plate actually moves. The Zenergy is the gentlest with a movement of about 1/8 inch from side to side but a higher rate of speed than the other two (Max 38 CyclesPerSecond). This one (Vibratone) moves the slowest (Max about 8 CyclesPerSecond) but moves about 1/2 inch up and down which feels much more aggressive than the Zenergy. The Crazy Fit is the most aggressive with a Max speed of about 18 CyclesPerSecond and 1 inch of movement up and down. Conversely the Crazy Fit is the cheapest and least well built of the three. I’ve recently tried the Concept 2, and it was great, and seems to be to the standard workout equipment for serious crew members, but it’s big and bulky, and not as easy to store, unless you have a dedicated gym room in your home. The WaterRower, on the other hand, is easy to flip up and put in the corner of my bedroom. I roll it out on my balcony in the morning to enjoy the cool breeze while I row. I try to fit my workout in the morning before the baby wakes up, and I have no problem hearing him over the whoosh of the water. The WaterRower S4 computer isn’t as feature rich as the PM3/4 on the concept 2, but it has all that I need, since I just like to do basic 10km or 45 min sessions with a heartmonitor. I really do enjoy the sound of the water, it does remind me of hearing the water run up against a fiberglass hull of a boat, and the dripping of water between each stroke.I haven’t been in a crew boat is years, but the memories come back when I’m on the waterrower, and not so much on the concept 2. I also did consider the Livestrong LS 10E & LS 13E for a little more money, but for the price this one was just as good as the more expensive ones. But really the only differences were the power inclines and USB plug-ins. Those are things I can do without, I don’t mind manual adjusting the incline or looking up my own workout plans, the higher Livestrong ones above this had bells and whistles that I didn’t need. The only thing I think is the calorie estimating is a little off I think as I feel I’m burning way more calories and I know at the gym I burn way more for the distance & time I do.
